It's a complete mess. How do Chelsea and Man City get away with it? I'm not one of those screaming for City to be stripped of their titles but seriously how can they spend what they have yet teams like Everton, Forest, Leicester be punished. Even Newcastle have billions (apparently) ready to spend but say they can't due to these restrictions. Did City get the money at the right time, therefore built that foundation? Same with Chelsea and the Abramovic era. Football is a complete mess at the top level.

Honestly I have no idea. But it now means the pigs are only 8 behind safety. Still a massive ask, but it gives them hope. Although I suspect it will get reduced to 2 on appeal - Which makes a proper mockery of it all.

Players That Aren’t Quite Elite Level …

Griezmann Brilliant player and talisman for Athletico during his two spells there but for some reason never got going at Barca. Looking at his record though, it doesn't look too shabby for Barca - So what went wrong there? -
Wanted Luton to win this but this second half has been shocking for them.

What a game this is.

Arsenal playing some great football, but they are always capable of dropping points. Without looking at fixtures do they have many of the top six left to play? Liverpool seem to be on a high. Klopp leaving hasn't hurt them and will give them some motivation. Their "young uns" seem to be capable despite their injury problems. City seem a bit off it this season. Losing some big names won't have helped. I'm gonna go Liverpool to win it.

Need to regroup and contain this. We could end up shipping a few more here if we're not careful. -
They don't want/need him. We'll be paying a bulk of his wages so it makes sense to loan him out rather than sat in their u21s Similar to what we should have done with Gregory

Few iffy moments and at times looked a hard off the pace but he battled in that middle of the pitch tonight. Good game from him. Looks much better under Röhl than he did under Moore or Xisco

Wilder was always the wrong choice. He might have got the fans on side, but his style will not get these players on a decent wage (40k) on the same side. It works in League One at a club like them, when you're paying them a pittance but remind them they are playing for a big club. You know, chance of a lifetime for most, get career back on track etc etc. These players would rather say fk you, pick up their wage and leave. We know it all too well! -

Shame Arsenal will take it easy from now on. P.s. how many goals has that new keeper shipped now? -
He's absolutely fantastic but I honestly don't know what his position is? He's played wide, midfield and a more attacking midfield role. He suits that City side but where to England play him? We tend to prefer the pacy wide men. I would love to see him a midfield of Bellingham, Foden and Rice. But again, Southgate likes those two holding midfielders.
-
Didn't know what to expect when we signed him. Thought he was more a wide player than striker but currently he is exactly what we all wanted. That man who can stick it in the bag. Is he our top scorer already now?!
-
They'll no doubt get loaned out and/or sold before they turn out to be very good.

Great for me though. I miss most Saturday games as I'm always busy with family. Nice to sit down on a Saturday evening with a beer watching football.

The kind of game you love as a fan.

To be fair, some of the comments don't look like it was written by someone with English as their first language. Although you could say half of them lot can't speak English anyway... But it's hard to say right now where the abuse has come from, unlike our idiots who did it in person and in clear view. Either way it's disgusting and not acceptable. Social media is rife with it. Cesspool for morons. -
Most overrated SWFC player EVER?

The Professor. Was meant to be FF's good friend and they worked well together at Watford. FF downed tools and Abdi disappeared. -
There are buyers out there for everything. That old house down the road? It's in tatters, a complete mess but someone will buy it.... For a knocked down price. Unfortunately that is like us currently. Someone WOULD buy us. But for a massively reduced fee in the current state. But for someone to buy, someone has to be willing to sell.

We have the right manager. The wrong owner. It's our luck to stumble across one of the good upcoming managers in the game only for it to be ruined by the off field stuff.

Contract up in the summer. Play him, give him the Wednesday love and sign him up on a free. Or do the Wednesday way and offer him peanuts and see him sign for someone else.

It feels like we're playing without a midfield.
