  1. Why does this matter. We know Chansori has form for banning individuals/refusing tickets when anyone "upsets" him. Just normal fans wanting the club to be run better and on a sustainable basis.
  2. I'm confused! Are we supposed to be giving the new manager time? Or do we need to hound him out before the end of August? Someone please tell me what to think! I would suggest that to think a brand new team playing a brand new formation/strategy may take more than 2 or 3 competitive games to gel and settle.
  3. Agree! Look at Man U! Offered De Gea a contract on reduced waged. Then pulled it when they found a better keeper and let him leave. Brutal, but thats football and as a club we need to be like that to progress. Similar decision will need to be made with Bannan at some point unless he moves on to the coaching staff.
  4. As someone else has just said the actual worst case is that we go in to admin when he has spent all this front loaded cash and we can't afford the running costs from next year/year after. I would run a mile if I was asked to fund a business that had this operating model! People need to separate the "premium product" idea from the actual cash flow implications it creates. Seems to me that our chairman is unfortunately painting himself (and more worryingly) the club in to a corner and soon there will be no way out.
  5. I don't post on here often but here goes. I'm in a fortunate position that I could afford an early bird season ticket. Or a season ticket at any point. But I live in York and am a sole parent to 2 kids, one of which plays football every weekend so a season ticket just doesn't work for me. I'm also fortunate that I could afford to pay the POTG prices, but from a principle point of view I just can't justify that as those prices are just crazy! There has been loads of talk about how our chairman talks to the press and fans. I was always told in management that if you are not good at something the delegate it to someone in your team that is better than you. No shame in that and he needs to realise that, as much as he may love the club (and plough ££££'s in to it) there is undoubtedly someone better placed to communicate with the fans and media. As many have said, the feel good feeling is drifting away and it seems to be down to pure stubbornness in terms of listening to people who may know more the the chairman does.
  6. 25-1 to be next Leeds manager on Paddy Power. Only 9-1 on sky bet!
  7. Could we borrow the Man City squad for one night? They bagged 4 tonight quite easily!
  8. China and Saudis! Is this not a double racist post! Outrageous!
  9. They are doing a right job on us here. Can't get the ball down in midfield and no link up play to the forwards!
  10. Still better than the Chelsea club shop after today!!!!
  11. The charge will be logged at Land Registry and the record is available via Companies House. The first charge doesn't have to be removed and lenders often don't remove their charge when a loan is repaid. It sometimes goes unnoticed until the asset is sold.
  12. The booze and gear is no excuse. Loads of lads can, and do, go out, get smashed and still have a good time without being complete idiots. Even if yoy are on the gear you don't have to act like a complete moron!
  13. Regarding the timing of the filing of the accounts.......as stated above, you don't need to file last minute. In fact, many companies that are trying to improve their credit rating, reputation or to demonstrate financial wellbeing file early. The fact is, we haven't filed ours, it sets alarm bells ringing and whilst it's still conjecture it would appear that either (a) the auditors won't sign off on a going concern basis, or (b) they show yet another breach of FFP and once published will lead to further sanctions.
  14. Totally agree. I wonder if LondonOwl has actually seen someone die in front of him. Its horrific to see even if you do know/accept that people die. Main point is that the guy looks like he is on the road to recovery. How people feel or react to what they saw is irrelevant. Everyone is different and handles situations differently.
  15. As others have said, maybe some other clubs are struggling. Still doesn't make things ok for us being part of that band. And we seem to be the only club that is in the news day after day, week after week with news of unpaid players, furlough requests, broken boiler that we can't afford to fix, cash flow problems, not owning the ground, a lender who we owe a huge wedge to later this year having a mortgage charge over the ground! Our list is endless!!! Would you do business with a company that had our reputation and rumours/facts flying around as detailed above? Pretty soon no players, suppliers or service partners will want to deal with us for fear of not getting paid. I don't know if the chairman or his family can get any more cash in to the football club but it sure as hell doesn't look like it to me.
