  1. The question is, though, where will Colin end up? Defeat is never enough for us, we always have to have our noses rubbed in it. He wanted the job here, and how Wednesday it would be if he plays a part in relegating us.
  2. The problem is the loss of Baz and Poveda. With them both fit I think we'd have a decent chance, but not without them. This season reminds me of the 89-90 season, in that we were bobbar in the first quarter, rallied in the second and third, but ran into injury problems in the fourth. We just don't have the quality to lose those two, and bear in mind that Colin is now unemployed again...
  3. If Leeds are rivals to Man Utd, we're rivals to Barcelona. Leeds are going to have to win 18 PL titles, like Liverpool, before they can call themselves rivals to Man Utd.
  4. It makes a difference from a morale point of view, I'd argue. But getting a positive result from Epswech isn't just about being more defensive, it's also about sh*thousery, which Roehl doesn't do. You need a British dinosaur for that.
  5. Roehl got it wrong yesterday, but he's still got plenty of credit in the bank as far as I'm concernned. If he hadn't done so well, what happened yesterday wouldn't have mattered anyway, as we'd already have been down. For what it's worth, I still think we'd have lost with a more defensive approach, but from a morale point of view it wouldn't have been so damaging.
  6. Er, no. The protests need to intensify IMO. We've only got a few home games left in which to do it.
  7. True. But it just goes to show that in this business bobbar can strike at any moment. And we should know. We've been snorkelling in it long enough.
  8. Moore gives his post-match thoughts. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0hk3s9b Who'd have thought on that sunny Wembley day that both he and we would all be in this poo? Unbelievable.
  9. If we'd had no manager at all we probably wouldn't have had such a dreadful start as we did under Sh*tshow.
  10. With Bannan and Poveda we have/had an outside chance, but not without them. And as has been mentioned, Colin's on the loose again.
  11. Yes, I think he'd be a good fit. He'd have the players to play his style, which he doesn't have here. Nobody will hang around long with Chansiri as chairman. He must be amongst the top two or three worst owners in the country.
  12. Ipswich built a side in the Third which can play this attacking brand of football. They've kept the same manager, and they've added to that squad. In other words, they've had contimuity. It's been a seamless progression. Even if Moore had stayed and we'd had a preseason, we wouldn't have done an Ipswich. We had an old, slow team which played a laboured brand of football. Add to that poo investment, the managerial merry-go-roung, no preseason, and a team unsuited to Roehl's style, then it's no surprise that we're where we are. Today was a good opportunity to take the temperature of both clubs almost one year on from going up. It seems we're suffering from an unpleasant fever, and it's all down to juggins. Chansiri out!
  13. I think the point is, why are Ipswich one of the best in the division? A club centred in a market town, bereft of parachute cash, and one which came up with us 9 months ago. The difference between us is what's happening off the pitch.
  14. What we've seen from Epswech is what we could be if we stay up, and if Roehl is backed. Our team was assembled for a totally different type of football, and you would think that there'd be a big turnaround in personnel next season. The key is the backing Roehl would receive, and that's down to the chuff Chansiri.
