  1. Soooo ponderous in the final third. Approach play is as quality as you would hope it would be with those attacking midfielders, but for whatever reason we seem to take an age to make the final pass.
  2. The pitch (which is nearly a decade old now) was never maintained properly, which is why it has been so patchy for so long. Chansiri wasted loads of money on a huge initial outlay and then never bothered to spend the relatively much smaller % in protecting his investment. It now needs ripping up and redoing. It is a perfect metaphor.
  3. Does any of this matter in the modern game though? What advantage does that offer a potential investor vs a club with a gate 10k smaller than us but without the need to invest £25m in facilities?
  4. Agreed Wait, so your pitch to any potential investor would be "we were reyt good half your lifetime ago, if you can take us back to how we were before the Internet was widely available, you'll see how good we can be"? F*ck a duck. I stand by it: any investor of sound mind would see £50m in Plymouth more likely to return Prem football than £100m in Wednesday right now.
  5. Biggest red flag for me was after 24 months when all we had was a big screen and the lovely relayed pitch (that looked like we had bought a knock-off version of at the time... remember the threads asking why it was looking so ropey?) And nothing else. The real deal would have been addressing the training ground in a meaningful way beyond a couple of new portakabins.
  6. Not too jump on you literally the second you post this (sorry, I know it's intense but luck of the dice!)... based on what? Our attendance at Wembley? Because other than that I don't think there is a single thing at Wednesday that suggests "potential" without the caveat of "potential... if you spend £50m on facilities and £50m on the squad". I think even a club like Plymouth has more Premier League potential than us to any prospective owner right now, and I just don't see what so many folks like your good self see. Think I need convincing you're not looking at things through blue specs.
  7. I would imagine you are not a soul that is used to thinking past the next 24 hours Expand your horizons and think big picture
  8. Willing to bet there's more confidence now than there was post Huddersfield... Hate being an optimist, but this is far from the lowest point even post New Year, let alone all season, and every time we have bounced back with this manager in charge. No need to panic.
  9. We don't do draws under this manager... gone are the days of "it's the draws that kill you". 4 wins and 4 losses... if three of those wins come against Stoke, Swansea and QPR we probably stay up
  10. If you had said two months ago that after Leeds and Ipswich we would be within a 1 game swing of 20th and a 2 game swig from 16th you would have gnawed your own arm off. Or at least I would have anyway. The 8 game sprint at the end of the marathon starts now. Make like TayTay, shake it off, and look to that final 8. If we win our next game we are out of the bottom 3.
  11. Case in point. Compare that corner to what we offer on a week on week basis ffs Nightmare to defend something like that, game over
  12. Comparing our corners to Ispwich's is a lil upsetting
