  1. Not sure if this has been asked elsewhere, and it may be a stupid question. But knowing what we know now, would you rather we had went up automatically and never have got to experience Thursday night? I can't decide...
  2. I was sat with the Portsmouth fans, right in the corner near the away end. Saw the melee and all the stewards and police got involved, but couldn't tell you what it was about. Was all a little embarrassing though.
  3. Thankfully they're trying to fix the commentary issues! Hopefully it works!
  4. Watching on iFollow. Is anyone else's commentary ahead of the actual footage? Hearing them commentate on stuff before it's happened!
  5. If you brought in a stop clock method, and ensured they played 90 minutes of football, the game would likely last 2 hours, or even more with all the stoppages.
  6. I'm not sure people entirely understand the concept of the stop clock method. You literally stop the clock every time the ball is not in play. So you ensure you always get 60 minutes of football. Players can time waste all they want, and yes, it will break up play and you can still take the sting out of the game if one team is really pressing. From kick off to final whistle may still take 90 minutes, or even longer. but you ensure you still get 60 minutes of actual football.
  7. I'm all for a 'Stop the Clock' approach. Really fed up of all the time wasting antics. Watching goalkeepers dive on the ball from a standing position is another one. Or the latest one that really annoys me, since outfield players are now allowed inside the box for a goal kick, the keeper draws them in to make it appear they're playing it short... then waves them on and kicks it upfield instead, eating up valuable seconds.
  8. On overage last year in the Premier League, the ball was only in play for approx 55 minutes. Not sure if there are similar stats available for the EFL. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/61342349 But according to that, you'd get more playing time.
  9. Try clearing your cookies & history, and then logging in again. That worked for me yesterday. I tried logging on shortly after 1pm and it said no events available, then did that and it came up. Had my tickets bought by 1:07pm
  10. Exactly! And I don't look like Chris Waddle
  11. I couldn't get tickets for the away end at Wycombe, so sitting in the home end. Who else has done this before? Do I just need to keep my mouth shut?
