  1. I don't know much about this Adam Shaw, but I'm curious what sort of power and influence he has, or surrounds himself with?
  2. Until a few years ago, I rarely felt any reason to be embarrassed about being a Wednesday fan. Now, it seems like not a day can go by without the club finding new ways to **** up.
  3. Whether or not you intend to support DC, the end result is the same if you keep giving him your money. I don't intend to annoy my GF with my constant puns, but that's the result. I don't intend to offend my cat when I get the same cat food she enjoyed the day before, but that's the result. I don't intend to get into debates online, but that's the result when I open a new tab. The intention doesn't always impact the end result.
  4. Me: when you give money to someone, you support them. Them: so anyone giving money is supporting them? Me: yes Someone else: he never mentioned money did he? Me: **time to start drinking again**
  5. What do you think is happening to your money? Where do you think it goes? Do you not believe that if the flow of money stopped it would hasten DCs departure?
  6. How can you give money to someone, and not support them? The mental gymnastics at play is amazing.
  7. Every day that goes by I lose just a little bit more faith in the club and, in the most general terms, our fans. We've had, arguably, the worst quarter century of any of the "big clubs". Yet, so many fans are still doing the same old, same old, turn up, buy tickets, and afraid to complain too much in case they rock the boat. We are way beyond nuance and subtlety. The time for a change is now. Anyone putting money into the club, whether they like it or not, is supporting the current ownership. Anyone saying, "it's tradition", or it's "habit", or it's "part of my social life"; fair enough, but at least admit you are putting that ahead of real change for the club in your list of priorities. You can't buy season tickets, and claim you want change, because if you want change, you'd be doing something about it, and the easiest thing would be to stop spending money on the club. I stopped spending on the club a while back. I've tried engaging with fan groups. There's just so much apathy everywhere in the fan base. I feel like the heart and soul of the club is dead. It's like if you are angry with a service you are getting, but you continue to spend money on that service, and you wonder why nothing changes. Where is the motivation for change if the other party keeps getting your money?
  8. Could they beat the worst GD in PL history, held by Derby I believe; -69?
  9. Won’t let me sign. Keep clicking the link and nothing happens.
  10. A line I heard recently… ”neutrality always supports the oppressor and never the victim” You can’t sit on the fence, put money into the club, and claim to not support our owner.
  11. It’s at that point where if you are paying to watch this, you’re part of the problem. We need to stop all money coming into the club from fans. Maybe then we will see change.
  12. If we want the club to be successful and sustainable, it’s up to the fans to so something. Every time something has been tried, the majority take the p1ss or have a go. No other club of our relative size would put up with this. People can’t see that every penny they spend at the club is prolonging this situation. If we want to change the club, we have to make hard choices. If we want a club we can be proud of, we have to work for it, and not shout down or ridicule every effort to bring about change.
