  1. Birmingham City have always underperformed considering they are the second club of the second city. With the right owners they have huge potential
  2. Don 'Thanks' Givens I know he didn't play for Wednesday. But no footballer has made true owls happier
  3. You would have though the phrase 'gather round now please' might have worked
  4. Good reply. I think that poosibly the typical Wednesday bad luck' problem will be here to haunt us again as I dont see how what has happened in the past can be dealt with by a new bill. Yes new regulations can improve things in the future but the issues that we have currently are not going to be solved
  5. I think that type of club is a decent bet for his next move. Better quality of life in the south on the kind of money he would command and working for a club that mirrors his own ambition.
  6. I wish the regulator good luck. They are going to need it they are up against some powerful people with very good legal teams. Wednesday are sadly small potatoes in this. The bigger fights are further up the football pyramid.
  7. IMO we would make the top 20 but while ever we are out of the premier league we will slide down the pecking order. I think the following clubs today are cwertainly in front of us. North to South Newcastle Sunderland Leeds Man Utd Man City Liverpool Everton Aston Villa Arseanal Spurs Chelsea West Ham That leaves 8 places. There are howver lots of clubs that could credibly argue due to their better recent success to be above Wednesday Clubs like: Forest Derby Leicester Norwich Southampton Crystal Palace Fulham Wolves Brighton lets not even think about Sheffield United So I dont think our top 20 status is as guaranteed as it once was
  8. Going to have three would have 4 but I dont think Wembley should be inncluded in this list. Old Trafford for all the history would be my favourite. The last time we played there we lost 4-0 to the then European Champions. Before the match man Utd walked around the pitch with the Champions League, Premier League and FA Cup trophies. The Emirates is the best ground I have been too in the UK The Nou Camp is a very special place. Least favourite would be Oldham Athletic ( Boundary Park) , I have never been so cold watching a game of football. and we lost Chelsea priory to the development was shocking, I have always been amazed how bad Elland Road is
  9. The technology exists to make bad behaviour in grounds virtually impossible to get away with. If we as a second division club can pay footballers over a million a year. We should also be able to afford top quality crowd monitoring equipemnt. Then identify the offenders and deal with. You dont need to send teenage stewards into sort it out. A few old style night club bouncers is all thats needed.
  10. If you commit to being a regular customer there are plenty of deals on enterntainment. This is a 'season ticket' for the Odeon go as many times as you like for less than a fiver a week. https://www.odeon.co.uk/limitless/sign-up/ Compare that to the price of a season ticket to watch 2nd division ( possibly 3rd division ) football
  11. This is playing havoc to my 92 club membership I have already been to 2 grounds for Oxford United!
  12. If your sat in row z and the ball hits your head it's simonsen
  13. In an opinion based trial like this you would be unwise. It would be very easy for things to go wrong and for you to end up in prison.
