  1. I renewed last night, reluctantly. It’s the hardest I’ve had to think about renewing for a long time, far more so than when we last went down in 2021. I am convinced the club is about to go down the pan so after weighing up all the options, I used the PayPal credit option, which seems to offer a reasonable amount of protection when we do go bust.
  2. Yeah, and look at this from the Bank of England inflation calculator. My North renewal has significantly outstripped inflation.

  4. Anyone heard anything more about this? I ordered a copy for me and one for my step son for his birthday which was on the 7th. I was told when I ordered that it would be dispatched "early August" and I hoped it would be here for his birthday, but I've not seen anything since.
  5. This should be so obvious to anyone who is not an idiot. I bought mine in early bird this year so I’m ok at the moment but I’m genuinely concerned with what we’re going to get slapped with for 2024-25. I really cannot believe all the “I’m alright Jack” types on Twitter haven’t considered this.
  6. It’s obvious, isn’t it? I can’t believe people still defend him and that people were cheering for him at the victory parade when he came out onto the balcony. The only net gain we’ve had since he bought the club is the fanzone. Other than that, we’ve had two failed Championship play off attempts, a farce of a stadium sale, a points deduction, relegation, constant chaos with new shirts (whether that’s them not being available until October or £65), eye-watering ticket prices, D-Taxis, cakeball and countless other nonsense. Whilst this season and the playoffs we’re bloody fantastic, that’s only got us back up to the division we were in when he bought us.
  7. I got my ST on the North in January. I could afford £485 but I knew it was unreasonable then. I couldn't understand why anyone would applaud Chansiri at the parade the other day, I just stood there quietly when he came out on to the balcony. It's his fault we've been in the the third division for the last two seasons and now he's really taking our fans to the cleaners.
  8. You’re welcome. I’d love to see a picture of it when it’s finished.
  9. It wasn’t cheap- £180. But, that’s because we won 6-0, which meant it needed to be big and there were loads of holes to be cut for the pictures and the scorers. As we only won 2-0 against Doncaster in the game you’re looking at, you should be able to get it done for a lot less.
  10. I got a picture made for my stepson after I took him to his first game, 6-0 v Cambridge last season. If you want someone to make it professionally for you, I would highly recommend Curo Gallery on Middlewood Road, just above Hillsborough Park. I gave them the pictures, the programme and the ticket, and an idea of what I wanted, and they did this for me. I downloaded the match pictures from the club’s match day gallery from the website, and then got them printed in Boots.

  12. I went to the semi-final in 1993. My dad took me after getting tickets literally the day before. I was nearly 11. Tomorrow I’m taking my step son. He’s nearly 7. He’s going to be wearing the Owls at Wembley bucket hat my dad bought for me in 1993.
  13. I was there. I didn’t see any nonsense. There were loads of rozzers keeping an eye out, but they just seemed to leave everyone alone to drink and sing, whether that was pints from the pub or tins from a carrier bag like us. Even when a load of Arsenal fans walked through the middle and everyone started singing “Top of the league and you fizzed it up”, there was no sillyness from anyone- Wednesday, Arsenal or Metropolitan police.
