  1. We should go for the new frnech kit style and have a massive owl
  2. Theses commentators are wearing double rose tinted glasses
  3. Does anyone know the specifics, clearly he's been charged, which isnt a good luck but is he a serial offender, was it a one off or does he have previous. Were there extinuating circumstances or is he just a bad egg? I'm not condoneing his actions one bit but some context would be good or maybe Dortmund cancelling his contract is all the evidence we need?
  4. If you ever need to get out of a bad run we're a team that you want to play
  5. It’ll be quicker than 4 months. We’ll be relegated by end of March
  6. Desperately need some quality across the park. Famewo is a liability, Palmer is filling a gap, weak up front.
  7. Loads of other clubs in for him, we could be down the pecking order. Hopefully not
  8. Would be a decent signing but Newcastle literally have no midfielders and Joelinton out for the season apparently. One for the summer and maybe a perm?
  9. Desperately need proper RBs and LBs it’s killing us away from home. Granted Southampton are a good side but we just looks so disjointed
  10. About time we had Adidas, perhaps now is the time with DR at the helm
  11. Smith isnt good enough for this league, his touch is poor and he isnt a great link man, he give away too many fouls. Paterson is pretty much the same although his touch is slightly better. Fletcher could improve under rohl given the style of play but that would take a massive improvement on what we've seen so far. But ulitimately we need new blood upfront
  12. I don’t but I just can’t see any PE wanting to invest in a club on the decline, that will cost more than they are willing to pay and with very little chance of payback in 3-5 years. If we were a potential target then why hasn’t anyone else been interested, maybe they have but DC not interested
  13. Pato should be no where near the starting 11 after this transfer window but he is which speaks volumes. Granted he gives 100% but that doesn’t correlate to quality. He’s clumsy, give away too many fouls and get caught out too many times
  14. He hasnt got the cash or the backers. No one in their right mind would buy us. We’re relegation fodder
  15. Each to their own but some of these rating must have meant I watched a different game. Having had time to reflect these are my scores Dawson - 4 - Slow to distribute, slow off his line to help defenders. Low on confidence Iorfa - 5 - Always looks to have a couple of errors or silly mistakes in him, doesnt really offer anything when breaking into midfield Ihiekwe - 6 - Similar to Iorfa always has a error in his game but best defender of the three, would probably be better as a CB in a back four, with two proper LBs and RBs Famewo - 4 - Thought he was very poor, like the other defenders always makes a silly mistake. Doesnt get forward, out of his depth Paterson - 6 - Puts a shift in but that should be the standard for all the players, causes problems with his physicality but technically not great, but is LW his best position?? Bannan 6 - IMHO not his best game, was better 2nd half. clearly lacking support in midfield, would have flourished with their #25 next to him Bakinson - 3 - Offers nothing as a Midfielder, negative approach, doesnt scan and get on the front foot. One dimensional. Wasnt good enough for last season and certainly not good enough for this season. For a big guy he just doesnt get involved Valentin - 6 - Looked bright but faded, needs game time. Could develop into a useful squad player Musaba - 5 - We all want him to be a succsess but I cant see it happening, too lightweight and runs into trouble. Scored but could hardly miss Windass - 5 - wasted lots of excellent chances, looks uniterested (lazy) at time. Thinks he better than he is. Still dont know his best position Fletcher - 2 - Waste of loan, offered nothing, although lumping it up to him to challenge Flint was pointless Would have rather seen one of the youth players get a run out Subs: Palmer 4 - At fault for another goal, poor penalty Vaulks 5 - Didnt have time to have an impact, poor penalty Delgado 6 - Did ok Gregory 6 - Didnt do much wrong but going to be a long summer if he's our main striking threat Smith 6 - Didnt offer much but a better option than Fletcher Overall no better than previous games against weaker oposition. Having seen every game this season I just dont see any progression, just players being played out of position with no identity
