Great stat, where has that come from?

Read it somewhere a while ago, the camera crew turned up for a 3pm KO, for some reason the actual match was an earlier kick off, not sure why though.

Did that Gillingham game get called off before or during the game? I have a very distant memory of it being briefly mentioned on News at Ten with pictures of the fog and snow, probably because ITV Digital was around at that time.

Was it an FA Cup game in 2000?

Bristol City at home, snow think it was 1/2 time and no roof on the kop at the time

That was Jan 1973; stood on the Kop for that game and abandoned early in the second half.

My vivid memory of that game is of Peter Rodrigues and Willie Henderson having a snowball fight.

Many years ago, I think it was Peterborough away, snowed off while we were travelling down, but as we were part of the supporters club, our coach along with a couple of others were allowed to go to a different game, we all ended up at Barnsley V Stockport, when their kop was a covered grass hill !

Late 1970's I think. We were driving down the A1 and got to a roundabout at Stamford. There was a police car with a big sign saying "Posh Match Off". Went for fish and chips in Stamford and if I recall correctly went to see Derby vs Chelsea at the Baseball Ground.

There was one we were losing against Wigan where there were waterfalls tipping off the roof.

I think Gray was the manager at the time.

Yeah I was there with my dad, did it get to half time and that was it? I know we were losing and it felt like a victory. Sadly I think we lost the replay too, don't remember too much except that Wigan were a much better side than us at the time 😢

Walsall: Early start on coach from Chap.
Big paper bin bags full of bottles of ale.

...coaches didn't have bogs on them ...driver got lost...arrived finally pissedup and bladder hurting so much it took what felt like an eternity before the deluge was unleashed against a wall. The whole coach load lined up. A tsunami of waz.

Inside, the strongest memory is of three Wednesdayties standing underneath a broken drainpipe, shirts off and having a shower.

Back then..that was one of the better away experiences lol
