I remember hearing all this in the early 90's when they actually had a firm and used to constantly tell us how much better their firm was than ours then

They probably had a point, but we'd always turn up for the derby games, I can't remember them ever coming down in numbers to Hillsborough Corner and doing anything, we were all there too in numbers, they knew where we were.

Apart from a few isolated incidents from small numbers, normally picking on your shirty fan or smaller numbers, (typical BBC Bully Boys) they never actually delivered in what they said. So I guarantee nothing will happen on Sunday, especially when it didn't in 92 or 94 when the off-field stuff was a lot more common.

Pretty pathetic but let’s not pretend that some of our fans will be loving this as well.

Never understood the “firms”. Never want to. Different world to me and I’m quite glad about it, but also stops me going to the match with my daughter.

I've said this many times in here before

Different times now and for the better, but when I was involved in the late 80's early 90's I loved it, but it's not a thing anymore.

Not saying stuff doesn't kick off, it does but it's not planned like it used to, just lads that have supped too much will get in scraps in heat of the moment.

With the amount of old bill around for a game like this, no way they would come down looking for it. It would be so stupid as not only would OB stop them, they'd be massively outnumbered.

All young teens nowadays,  I’ve never known United to back up there claims especially at hillsborough , many a times was told coming to blue ball in late 90s early 2000s never happened!!

all "incidents" I was involved in with them was Saturday night in town when we hadn't even played them
