Good signing that gives us options in a few positions now.

Been able to push Palmer to wing back or Palmer/Fusire into midfield etc.

Palmer in midfield hasn't been great recently.

I'm positive about this. But know a couple of people who say his best year's legs wise are behind him. I feel his knowledge and support will be just what we need on and off the pitch though! So good luck to the bloke!

If his legs have gone he'll still be better than some of our current defenders. We need him even if it's only as an alternative to the ones who've been bearing the brunt of things so far. Just a match off will work wonders for some of out players. A luxury we've not really had so far.

I wonder if this means Bernard is not even close to returning in the forseeable future

I know its only a small detail, but we've actually said how long he's contracted. Another detail that just keeps the fans in the loop

Looks slim, which I can’t say about every signing we have made in the past. It’s a start 🤣

Just walk past him with a big magnet to see if he's got pins in his legs like some of our signings. It might be a giveaway if he's in a wheelcahair. lol

Has it ever?

He looks so much more comfortable at right back.

Personally I think the only place he looks comfortable is RCB, and even there he’s average

His kids go to the same school is my youngest, he is very slight , considering he’s a CB. But bags of experience and a proven premier league top champ CB.

I think hes the first centre back we have signed on a permanent deal in 2 years!

I am surprised it was not a short term till January deal.

Speaks very well. Hints Sunday might come too soon, which is understandable. He’ll be an asset for us this season.
