Bloody hell,I must have been thinking  of another game,I'm sure I've been to St James when there was bugger all in the crowd Perhaps an earlier game,I can only remember snippets.

Obviously  I looked it up but I was big game .... I believe  there was one  if remember  correctly  of 18330  when atkinson was here .

Stuck in the corner at Anfield when Shelts scored,  sticks in my mind that day as a thieving ickle scouser tried to nick my trainers of me as we were leaving the ground.

Also not sure if it was the same match,but  four of us went in my old gold Ford cortina, Brinny lads,the carburettor was knacked and we broke down outside Anfield, hilarious trying to do a scouse accent as the locals were offering to push the car, we got it going before we got our heads kicked in,thank god.

What a player, although I only saw him on TV and clips since, as I didn't go in the mid-80s.  Surprised he didn't see his career out at S6, why was he sold to Oxford?
