  1. True, but it seems there's been new interest, they're not going to turn people away until someone is given preferred bidder status. It's a good thing! I think we're in for an exciting few weeks. You'd hope a deal will be concluded in mid Jan. January 15th 2025 - The day it became evident last season was falling apart, that fans forum was just a car crash, along with everything that's followed. It'd be very pleasing if a year on we have our new owners in place, knowing all the suffering we've endured under Chansiri Is finally behind us.
  2. Reading the Athletics interview with one of the admin team, It was expected to be delayed by a "week or two". Though nothing official has been said since todays deadline was announced 2/3 weeks ago. As others have said, I'd expect to see an update from the administrators just to keep fans in the loop.
  3. I think it was something along the lines of it's not deemed as a football debt / creditor so a buyer wouldn't need to pay 25 pence in the £. I could have that completely wrong though.
  4. Unfortunately the fee restrictions will still be in play this January. The summer window will be our first opportunity to spend.
  5. Another thread with yesterdays news, maybe?
  6. Lets be honest, the record will be tainted anyway, it's not a true reflection of SWFC on face value. It should be called the Chansiri record, this is what can happen when terrible owners are left to their own devices.
  7. 2-6 now. Sack them all
  8. 2-5 QPR now. Bloody hell.
  9. Pretty sure it was mentioned after Sundays game, the club were in talks with the EFL regarding a 3rd signing.
  10. I've seen plenty of comments from people wanting to keep the "character" of the stadium. The west, north and Kop all need demolishing, minimum. The South needs a complete revamp inside and out.
  11. People are far too sentimental about Hillsborough too. Let's be honest, it either needs demolishing and rebuilding or a new stadium built elsewhere, it was great for the past 100+ years, we need a new, modern stadium for the next 100 years now. Otherwise we will continue to fall further behind more ambitious and progressive clubs. We need to be dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st centaury, football has evolved so much at the top level while we've withered away in the lower leagues.
  12. There’s a bit of a difference between whatever he’s said and us singing about his daughter being a slag and our fans wishing him to die.
  13. Both chants happened, both came from the north stand. I heard them, as did many others. Wilder is also quoted in the star saying he heard it and it crossed a line.
  14. Also, chanting about Chris Wilders daughter or having a party when he dies is utterly disgusting, vile. Anyone doing it ought to be ashamed. Call him a w@nker, call him a pig. Don’t embarrass the rest of us with vile chants.
  15. If you’re getting that wound up by opposition players celebrating goals or playing the pantomime villain then maybe footballs not for you. if our players were shushing the Kop at Bramall Lane, the same knuckle draggers would be bashing one out over it. Take it on the chin, it’s football.
  16. They’ll gloat, celebrate, do whatever makes them feel superior. The truth is, 16 players walked out of our club last summer and non of them were replaced. The manager walked out weeks before the season started, the players had a no real pre season and weren’t being paid on time. The EFL have basically told us to get on with it. We’ve won one home game since January the 1st, just 6 home wins since August the 1st 2024. Their squad value is well over £100m while ours is around 15% of that. Realistically they should be hammering us at home, this is down to Chansiri. The next time we play them at home, the performance won’t be anything like today.
  17. The last time the lower lepp was sparsely filled with Wednesdayites and David Webb was the referee. God I hope I leave Hillsborough feeling like I did that night on Sunday.
  18. This will still likely be the highest attended game in this seasons EFL. Not bad for a club that's only won once at home since January the 1st.
  19. People putting tickets in their baskets and then not buying them?
  20. I did say "some". Newcastle x2 Villa West Ham x2 Man City To name a few others.
  21. Either that or "D D D Wilder is w@nke.r"
  22. Already excited for his first interview where he describes us as a MAAAASSSSSIVVVEEE club... It's been a while.
