  1. Southampton away in 1987, Grand National day, travelled with Mosborough Owls. Heard rumours it was off whilst boozing in Newbury but continued to ground just in case it was on.......It wasn't. Club officials took pity on us and fed us with snap prepared for corporate punters.
  2. Silk scarves coming next week!
  3. That bit is the keystone, if you take it away the whole ground comes tumbling down,
  4. To the 2,000 unwashed there: Come to save The Wednesday, You've only come to save The Wednesday.....
  5. Potential new owner has a change of mind!
  6. Double price for them lot to £14. 'Come to save the Wednesday, You've only come to save the Wednesday.........'
  7. I would hope that a lot of suppliers saw the writing on the wall over the last 6 months or so and stopped supplying goods/services. I think it was reported on here that the company supplying stewards this season wanted payment in advance.
  8. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that he thinks he's going to get all of his loan back in full. I'd love to be a fly on the wall when he's told what he's actually getting.
  9. Thought Fusire and Amass were poor first half, both improved second half along with the rest of the team. Fusire was everywhere after his goal, shows what a bit of confidence does for you.
  10. Ding dong the Thai has fled.
  11. I thought it was Mondays they didn't like?
  12. Well said. I've told all my wives and girlfriends I'm off to match today!
  13. The noise might wake them up!
  14. Ding dong the Thai has fled
  15. No, he's stopping in Thailand.
  16. Chanser is a goner
  17. Beat me to it! 'Chansiri and Elephants packed their trunks and said goodbye to the Wednesday'
  18. Given his reputation shouldn't that be vetting the birds?
  19. Can people please stop posting so I can catch up with the last 71 pages.
  20. Not sure Chansiri coming to an arrangement with HMRC is something that he could adhere to even if it was granted. Usually with a time to pay arrangement they agree for the arrears to be paid over a set period, say six months. They would expect the monthly arrears payments to be made on time plus all future new liabilities (monthly PAYE, quarterly VAT etc) to be paid on time too, something I can not see DC being able to do given that income has been drastically reduced.
  21. I'm hoping for men in trench coats carrying violin cases coming for him.
