  1. Plus we would actually want to attend and help generate cash for such a cup run which would help fund next season
  2. Nap likely turned the screw on the loan they had secured I imagine
  3. Hopefully new owners can pay for it
  4. He needs some consistency and string some decent performances together. He has shown glimpses but in the past has followed it up with really poor performances. Don’t expect an 8 out of 10 game each week but shouldn’t be dropping off to a 4 out of 10. Every players floor should be a solid 6 out of 10 game
  5. Will be nice to have new owners and think we can hold out for a good offer for Charles rather than accept the rumoured £1m crap bids from august
  6. Agree. Results have been poorer this season as players have been playing above age groups. Let’s hope it isn’t ruining their development. Players have also been bouncing between age groups.
  7. The admin can go through a court process if he is being difficult I believe. They would be able to show that their bidder gives the best outcome and the court would support them
  8. Yeah we have to be really unlucky to get someone who just refuses to sell. Hopefully the regulator can help by then too
  9. Find that hard to believe. I’m sure DC was a delight to deal with
  10. Like forming a boy band on X factor with 5 singers who wouldn’t make it through as soloists
  11. Indeed. You’d think admin would say any incremental increases need to be at least £100k higher. Would be here forever raising bids £1 at a time
  12. Maybe if they are at for arguments sake £30m now then they ask everyone is anyone is willing to go to £31m. Up it a million at a time to get people to drop out. Need to speed up the dropping out process. Which is why when you hear people panic about buyers dropping out you think why are you panicking. We need people to drop out
  13. Surely a deep pocketed owner who really wants us would win. Someone short of cash would be reluctant to go too high for fear of leaving themselves short for post acquisition spending or ruin their “investment return”. Just think of the Jordan bid. No way they would just simple up their bid £5m. But in a standard negotiation they could just try being slightly more than the highest bidder constantly
  14. I mean you wouldn’t want to be going back and forth with small incremental bid increases for weeks on end between 5 or 6 bidders. Hopefully the weaker bidders will naturally drop out in the coming days to leave the strongest 2 to fight it out. Kris should just tell the weaker ones that they are up against people with deep pockets Off the record of course
  15. The points deduction for admin are there for good reason. It shouldn’t be an easy option to go into admin and shaft all the creditors like local suppliers. Or even have enough to pay football creditors for that matter which would have a domino effect in the league. Also remember back in those days clubs were not quite so appealing to overseas investors as they are now. When Mandaric bought us the coop bank took a big hair cut on their loan which avoided admin.
  16. Exactly. If there were only 2 bidders and both had completed DD, visited ground and submitted final offers then a preferred bidder would be chosen. The fact is there are more bidders and they perhaps need more time which is fine. We’ve not been in admin long. They set themselves short timelines which has had the effect of speeding the process up nicely
  17. Yeah I think it’s for the best they avoided a new date. Because then people would be expecting that date to be concrete again. Best remove that expectation
  18. Several bidders maybe want to do more dd or visit ground before submitting a further offer who knows. If that offer looks promising for creditors or the club it would be silly to not try and allow a bit more time
  19. There’s a payment due in Jan plus other smaller monthly payments. We can also keep selling match tickets. Can imagine we would sell block tickets again if need be rather than half season tickets. Wage bill much lower than before
  20. No official statements have been released regarding the potential extension. I am expecting an update today tbh to say it is progressing well and hopefully preferred bidder will be chosen in the next 1 to 2 weeks. They should avoid putting a date on it
  21. Plus Man Utd had the stature to match cantona’s ego
  22. Nah that’s not the DC way. We had to pay them to take it off us
  23. Indeed his stay at Leeds was fleeting under Wilko who was more experienced with dealing with players. Loved Francis but man managing Cantona took a special manager.
  24. Hope he makes the bench ahead of Ugbo soon. Probably needs more matches first mind
