  1. More chance of knitting snow
  2. Absolutely beautiful. The way the beak curves down rather than run straight across under the eyes makes the dimensions perfect
  3. Clearly, but the fact of the matter is the badge needs to go back to how it was. The one we have now is too Chansiriesque
  4. I thought exactly the same thing mate. Always in our shadow
  5. I stand corrected, Blades Men
  6. I've just read a book about the history of Sheffield and in the closing chapter, Sheffielders were refered to as Blades. Apparently this is what we were once known as due to our leadership in the world of making cutlery. It said we were known as Blades, just like people from Newcastle are known as Geordies and people from Liverpool known as sscourers. It also went on to say that Sheffield Wednesday's nickname was originally 'The Blades' but was changed after we moved to Owlerton stadium. Doe's this make us the original Blades and our rivals not, as they didn't even exist when we went by that name.
  7. I know it's been mentioned many times on here but hopefully the new owner will change the badge immediately. No shields, no words just the beautiful owl
  8. Give him a decent run in the side and he'll score a hat full. Could be our main striker
  9. Big Sam. If he gets the club he's ready to have Big Sam as manager. He's just returned from discussions with him about the position at Mike Ashley's holiday home in Portugal. It will happen immediately if Ashley is successful in his attempt to purchase the club which he believes will happen by 20th December. You read it here first.
  10. Well, last season i rackled on about Ugbo on here, calling him lazy, inept, lacking speed and having quite simply no impact at all on any games. I referred to him as a flash in the pan during his loan spell with us and that he was up there with the worst signings that we've probably ever made. To my amazement, some people dared to back him, saying things like he's just lacking in confidence or he hadn't had a pre season. Since then, my view hasn't changed, in fact he's probably worse than what i originally thought. Surely it's time to take a hit on him and let him go. Obviously we wouldn't get offered any money for him but I'm sure a league 2 club would give him a go on a free transfer, or perhaps a lower league Scottish club. We've got about 4 other strikers at Wednesday that are clearly all much better than him who I'm sure will put us on until a take over is complete and Ugbo's wages could go towards any future signings.
  11. Because he's a clunt. I've often thought his accent wasn't like people who really are from Sheffield.
  12. I used to say on here that he would be a shocking signing if we brought him back. Sure enough we got him back and i instantly started to comment on how bad a player he was for us only to be told that he needed confidence or needed to get match fit. The truth of the matter is he's just a rubbish player it's that simple. His effort levels are zero, work rate absolutely dreadful and impact on every single game is 0/10. He's slow, can't head a ball, gets bossed around by defenders and doesn't even get in to goal scoring positions, something even Bothroyd managed to do occasionally. I fail to see how he's even made it as a professional footballer. Hopefully the incoming new regime will get him gone and replace him with a half decent striker.
  13. Please please please stay at home and watch Wednesday on tele tomorrow night. No more supporting or funding Chansiri, no excuses, no "I've promised my kid we'll go" no "it affects my mental health if i don't go" no nothing!!! The more of you that go, the longer you're keeping him here by funding his stay which means you're partly responsible for this mess. Be like the real fans that only want the best for our club and give him absolutely nothing.
