Finding talent from lower down the leagues and developing them into World class players. If only we had that set up today. I dont think I will see an Owls team pack with as much talent as I did from 1990-1996 again in my lifetime. When you see above who was mentioned as the top teams Man Utd, Arsenal, Everton, Liverpool and Wednesday and see how we have fared in comparison over the last 25 years.

That would improve our goal difference, could we get the same in the next 27 games and stay up.

Most experienced bench we have had all season. Pederson might use some subs today.

Gareth bale try to buy Plymouth not Cardiff -
The issue is in Scotland there only two teams and they are both from the same city. Let's say we were not in the mess we are, would we like losing to Sheff Utd every year and have them winning the league, rubbing our noses in it. I can imagine after a bit it getting really annoying. If Röhl has money to spend and still does not perform then he could get the sack. He may end up back at Hillsborough, who knows but good luck to him in Scotland and I hope it works out for him.

Weren't they the back to the premier league £5,000 jobbies. where you got a 10 year season ticket and one every year until promotion if you had £5,000 lying around. -
I do agree but I think it more the manner we lost. No one genuinely thought we would be Sheff Utd, but we didnt even make them work for it.

You really are a ******** troll

Thats the think I am mid 40's I am old enough to remember when we were good. when we played top flight football, had a team full of internationals, rival Barcelona for players (Dani)

Oh the old hes the coach how dare you question it excuses. An Argument used for Moore, Röhl, Munez, I assume you just dont have an opinion so try to quiet others with this very poor argument.

But the reason Pedersen is getting stick is he is choosing not to play the kids. Coopers just signed he played 60 minutes when Iorfa went off injured vs SU, then played the full game at Millwall and rightly could not be risked with 3 games in a week. But at Millwall he could have been on the bench and Otegbayo played along side Iorfa but then he could have maybe started the Preston game or played the second half, but because Otegbayo was not used he didn't. This is just 1 of many examples this season. Protecting the youth players is one thing using them as an excuse why we lose games is a completely different thing. Pedersen has used player fatigue as an excuse on multiple occasions and people are now calling him out, asking why hes not using the subs, to freshen up the team and reduce the player fatigue.
-
He has played Brown, Weaver and Fusire and a few minutes for Thornton and a few of the others. He has not really played any of the kids other than Fusire. Danny brought Cads into the team 2 years ago and Charles last season, McNeil was signed for the first team but never played, and Otegbayo also got 11 games last season. Under EFL rule home grown under 21 players dont count towards a squad players, so to count them when a teams is in administration seem to be someone making up the rules. I find the they cannot play because excuse a bit far fetch but if you have a link to the EFL rule that states it happy to be proved wrong.
-
It is a shame he never get a chance in the first team!
-
The stick comes from every time we play a few games in a week, Pedersen excuse is tiredness for the inevitable loss, but in every game he only uses 2 subs that are normally the other senior players not playing. At Preston he brought on two kids in the 90th minute. when Ingelsson looks shattered after 65 minutes why is Thornton, not brought on and if the excuse is Thornton not ready then why have him on the bench at all. have 2 or 3 subs instead of 9 and let the kids play in the development matches. Players learn by playing games, they get better by playing games, for what ever reason Pedersen does not seem to trust the kids to play them.

The whole concept is easier prices, 1 price fits all, not multiple categories and different bands thats what we got with Chansiri and week to week we were clueless.

Are we not all in it together then?

Apparently Chrissy Waddle got a call from Trev before we look to sign Cantona, who was his then team mate at Marseille. The advice Waddle gave - was he good player but attitude issues. In the interview a while back Waddle eluded to that was a big reason not to sign Cantona, not the 'I need to see him on Grass excuse, shortly after that Chrissy Waddle signed for us. So I put it to you, Cantona who could have been great or could have been a DiCanio or Chrissy Waddle. For me no contest Chrissy Waddle every time -
Sheffield Wednesday Advent Calendar

Could be worse, Ugbo tried to open the days window and completely missed the advent and hit the ball. -
Season tickets £25 per game x 23 games = £575 for adults in every stand, reduced on that for OAP's and kids. POTG £30 per game, then the same 20% up lift for kids and OAP. I certainty think these prices are fair. But then freeze them for the next 3 years no matter the division.

Chansiri would pay for any advise he probably thinks he knows better, like he always did. Take what Nixon says with a pinch of salt most of his rumours seem to come from Sage and Onion stuffing boy.

For me its the mindset of the club and whose the manager, we need to build a young hungry, high energy team, with a few of our youngster coming through and developing. we need players for 40+ games not ones that break after 10, we need some experience but players who consistently perform not 1 in 4 or 5. of this season squad Ugbo, Chalobah, Max Lowe,Jamal Lowe, Palmer and Iorfa all need moving on. Valery will probably be sold. Ingelsson is worth another year as in league one he will be useful, Cads, McNeil, Charles, Weaver, Brown, Fusire, Otegbayo all need tying down to 3-4 year deals. then lastly we need to decide about Bannan he was 36 on Monday, does he stay another year or do we look for the next Bannan a 21-24 year old, giving him a 12-18 months to develop at league one, before stepping up to the championship?
