  1. It will be a tough challenge but the suggestion of a drop to League 2 is a bit much. We have half a season left knowing our fate. The bad news is pretty much done now. The real positive is, we will have new owners, instilling a new plan, infrastructure etc. I think we would be challenging the right end of the table come next season.
  2. Best case scenario, restriction still in place for January, cleared for the summer.
  3. Take all the points deduction now, clean slate next season. Is this the end of any further deductions?
  4. Went to the game, vast improvement from last Sunday. Worthy of our lead, top performances across the team. From 55-60, the players were done. Penalty wasn’t a bad one, just keeper guessed the right way. Subs were too late and Preston got away with one today. Said from the start of season, roll on to May. Hopefully very soon, we will know who will be taking us over.
  5. We will go down in history as worst championship team. Rotherham’s record is still worse. They built a team with a normal pre season, to stay in the league and were dreadful. We had an owner solely asset stripping our squad/club and had provided no pre season.
  6. A risky Nathan Redmond is an improvement on the squad. That’s where we are right now.
  7. I don’t think that’s right and, I’ll tell you why, because Ugbo still gets a game.
  8. Sounds like a much better performance tonight. However, is there a reason why we are not bringing the youngsters on as subs? Is this the Manager’s choice or something else?
  9. Already got my ticket for Saturday.. If your expectation are low, you can't be disappointed, right?!
  10. In order to get anything out of the game today, team had to be 100% committed and Bannan had to have a blinder. Neither happened. Too much pressure on Bannan to be on form every match given our state.
  11. Exactly this. I have accepted every match to be a loss. As long as the 11 that are selected, work their socks off and show desire. None of that was evident. First 5-10 minutes, we passed the ball round well and looked neat and tidy. Then we reverted to hitting it long to Ugbo (say no more) and far too slow on the ball, no urgency. I was hugely disappointed in our efforts rather than the result.
  12. Looks miles better than a bog standard, IKEA flat packed bowl. Hopefully our new owners can be ambitious in their intent.
  13. Redmond is a good player but his injury record scares me. Watmore would be more dependable.
  14. Decent signing, all things considered. Our defence has been needing leadership and feel Cooper can provide that.
  15. What could have been, a home match we should have won. Great chances but our lack of attacking intent and composure let us down. Cant fault the team again for their grit and performance. Unbeaten in 2!
  16. Jacob Butterfield anyone? Signed him on deadline day. Remember waking up to read the news and instantly feeling embarrassed.
  17. Sorely missed, great player Windass.
  18. It’s a superb effort for a midweek match. The whole response since last Friday, though I’m not surprised, has been wonderful. This is what makes us a great club.
  19. I propose administrators as the new owners. Better track record in 4 days than Chansiri did in 10 years.
  20. Not the result we hoped, I genuinely thought we would win. However, Chansiri era being over is a much bigger prize. A week off for the lads, get soak up yesterday some more.
  21. Ha! I wouldn’t hold a grudge. The more members the better for the club
  22. Have to be the golden elephants then.
