  1. How about buying stuff and then giving it to charity shops etc. that way the club benefits and a charity can also benefit
  2. What's the oposite of Blavdes
  3. Always thought it was owl boobs... They can go to hell. Bring back the old lights
  4. but sod it... I'd rather have this design (not quite a disaster) than the disaster of a chairman and his badge (which had many things wrong with it too)
  5. Why is it like this? I can't unsee it The two eyes are not evenly sized or spaced, which feels imbalanced. The inner circular shapes differ slightly in proportion, causing asymmetry. They are positioned completely differently it's soo odd the stroke thickness varying on the rest of the owl is just odd Image shows even shapes from left side applied to the right which show the weird differences
  6. What about new owners for January transfer window? It'd be a remarkable story, even tho it's unrealistic
  7. Why would anyone prefer an untested young kid with zero experience in goal for us, and in our current situation? Why do that to them? However good young Stretch may be, he's obviously not considered ready for starting championship games. That's not his fault. It's not fair on a kid to be thrown in at the deepend like that, especially not a keeper. Realistically he shouldn't even be in the bench yet.
  8. We'd be forced to play the youth players. Competitive aspect of the squad would be questioned by the league... Maybe more points deductions. Unless you meant we had less than 7 players to field? In which case fines, points deductions, expelled from the league eventually
  9. We're you expecting someone who's played every game in the prem and internationals?
  10. What do people honestly expect? He's inconsistent, has errors, makes mistakes. Everyone knew this going into the loan. He's not too blame for anything... None of the players are. Their just a symptom of the whole situation. Blame the cancer.
  11. Ffs... If you know them, just thank them and buy them a pint... Just not inside the ground obviously.
  12. It doesn't seem like the squad wants to play for him tho. I think they'll likely get instant results with the right appointment, but when will they make the decision, and what direction they go is the issue they face. From what I've heard tho, it's the football philosophy that is wrong ATM... And if that comes from the board/directors will they take the blame? Will their owners own up to the issue they created? Will they appoint a transition manager to stabilise whilst the philosophy is embedded, or do they risk a longer period of change and put up with more poor results? Or just change direction to the more direct route? I said to a mate before the start of the season that they'll let him go after Christmas, leaving not enough time to bring anyone in or have an impact and they fight against relegation. I was half joking, but it feels realistic now
  13. He said he got on with DC and his family, but the trust was fine because of broken promises. He said he believes they care for the club, but also their actions don't back that up and ultimately they're in trouble. He was able to separate the personal and business relationships. I think he's been very honest. He's not being as blunt as we'd like. Here another way to take his statement DC is a nice family guy, but is completely untrustworthy when it comes to business, he's in massive trouble and the club deserves better.
  14. I think you're right here, he's obviously going to see them as an option. But honestly all the youth players need to start demanding bigger contracts. They need to demand something which reflects their new squad involvement, and it should put a dent in the idea that they are a cheap option.
  15. They've even announced it in black and gold. Well played
  16. Can't wait till we get £355k for him
  17. Putting himself in the shop window isn't he.
  18. I don't think he was ever signed as a starter expecting 90 minute week in week out. He was injured straight away (or when signed) and ended up making about half the number of expected minutes (based on recent seasons). I don't buy into the idea that all players need to make 2000+ minutes to be of value btw. 1000 minutes for a player you trust to finish the game/see it out, or change the outcome can be more valuable. I think that's what we saw in him. Cool head to come on and settle/hold on. We just need a balance tho... It was foolish to think he'd become a starter this season
  19. He'll be moving on in January. £25m, maybe Everton or Fulham is my bet
  20. Let's not forget that he could have decided against staying with us... We're not exactly a fantastic proposition are we
  21. Oooh... Shots fired at DR here me thinks. Sounds like DR is t doing that then... Or can't
  22. I mean, both points can be true, right? Players can use us as a stepping stone and DC can run a fire sale. It's just frustrating that we didn't benefit enough, either through finances or playing time. And, cheers for correcting the other bit, I didn't realise the other two weren't from Liverpool. I can't have read the article properly
  23. All this talk of needing a squad for the future and the premier League.... We just need a bloody squad to be competitive so we can even have a future
  24. Yeah, he's now arguably progressed and used us as a stepping stone. And we spun a small profit whilst he also contributed to the first team. We don't even need to look far away... just raid man city's rejected pile etc. Then look after them for a bit and aim to cash in and not give them away for free when they end up being worth millions like we inevitably do We've already signed 3 from Liverpool in Harry Evers, Cole McGhee and Denny Oliver. They're just not going to be ready yet
