I think they'll likely get instant results with the right appointment, but when will they make the decision, and what direction they go is the issue they face.
From what I've heard tho, it's the football philosophy that is wrong ATM... And if that comes from the board/directors will they take the blame?
Will their owners own up to the issue they created?
Will they appoint a transition manager to stabilise whilst the philosophy is embedded, or do they risk a longer period of change and put up with more poor results? Or just change direction to the more direct route?
I said to a mate before the start of the season that they'll let him go after Christmas, leaving not enough time to bring anyone in or have an impact and they fight against relegation. I was half joking, but it feels realistic now
